One of the biggest "sleepers" out there, the E90 M3 sedan, which came out on the market just recently, is already getting a facelift. Or should we say a buttlift. Similarly to the facelift of the regular E90 sedan, for 2009, the M3 sedan is getting redesigned tail lights and some modifications to the rear bumper and trunk lid which give it a little more aggressive stance.
Along with the exterior changes come a few minor interior improvements as well. Some of them include, new air vents in the center of the dashboard, redesigned storage area under the center console armrest and new rotary controls for the AC.
For the technology inclined, you would be glad to know that the new generation of IDrive will be an option in the 2009 M3 sedan, which includes also a new controller and bigger LCD display. New colors, such as the Le Mans Blue, and trim options will be available as well.
For those of you that already own the 2008 model and are kind of upset that BMW is offering the facelift so soon after the launch of the M3 Sedan, you will find some consolation in the fact that the engine, 4.0 V8 414 hp, is untouched.
